Winona’s Hemp & Heritage Farm

To create an Indigenous women-led regenerative economy that is kind to the Earth.

In Anishinaabe prophecies, our time is referred to as the time of the 7th fire, a time when our people will be given the choice between the green path and the scorched path. We have traversed the arid path of fossil fuels, GMOs, and monoculture agriculture for far too extended a period. At Winona's Hemp and Heritage Farm, we are dedicated to building a better future for our children by harnessing the wisdom passed down through generations and creating regenerative economies. In order to accomplish this, our approach involves collaborating with both tribal and non-tribal producers to establish a thriving hemp industry that adds value to the market. The industry will prioritize the utilization of hemp fiber for paper, clothing, and hemp food products. We should now progress towards a future that is environmentally friendly.

It is time to embrace the potential of the hemp economy. Winona's Hemp, as the pioneering woman in the north lands who farms hemp, is sharing her valuable knowledge and experience to support indigenous communities in hemp farming.
